Poor quality. Lackluster customer support. Buyer beware!
Buyer beware! DO NOT purchase Seagate products! I had two 12 TB Seagate hard drives under warranty go bad. Seagate refused to honor the warranty after waiting for a month. You cannot speak with anyone at Seagate. You can only chat with their support on their website. They gave me multiple excuses why replacement drives were delayed. Ranging from saying they never received by drives, stock issues, and ultimately claiming drives I sent back were damaged. I took pictures of disks before sending to show that they were not damaged. I purchased 2 of these 4 TB drives to make emergency backups for my other failed disks. Multiple drives arrived dead on arrival. Lesson learned for me. I will never buy a Seagate product as long as I live.

Bait and Switch
I ordered 6 of these drives. CrystalDiskInfo showed that at least two of them had thousands of hours already on them even though they were listed as new — the normal SMART hours were zeroed, but the Seagate vendor hours still showed the real runtime. That’s not a new drive. One of the six wouldn’t even come up at all: loud clicking, never detected by Windows. Packaging was bad too — 3 drives stacked on top of each other with only some bubble wrap, and one anti-static bag was already open. This looks like used/recertified drives being sold as new. Returning. Would rather just have the new drives I ordered than a refund.

Bait and switched. I was send USED drives and when checking the serial they did not carry any warranty.
