Superbly written in simple flowing language which actually holds one's attention. Enlightens and informs about the physics and mechanics of some of the dry subjects related to engineering and construction. The author has made it so enjoyable that when I am strolling the streets or avenues or I am traveling to visit places , I am looking at the buildings and the infrastructure in the new light. Indeed, a gift to all of us who were curious to learn but did not know where to look. This work is so appreciated that I would like to see more from Roma in very near future.

Hats off to Roma Agrawal. She explains points about structures with great clarity and illustrates them with her own charming line drawings, revealing pride in her profession and her own contributions to it.

Good read. I think everyone from school students to university student can read and enjoy this book. Nic work done
