Audio NEW Flagship TWAU MMCX replacement upgrade cable for Shure / Westone / UE900, UE900s / Ultrasone

Disclaimer: The rating does not reflect the sound quality of this cable, since I have not had the chance to test it out.I'm giving one star simply for the misleading title. That is, the product does not fit into Westone W series, period.

The other review focuses only on the fact that the "heat shrink wrap" around the MMCX connector distorts a little with Westone W-series (e.g. it happened on my W50). IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL. IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE BUILD QUALITY NOR SOUND QUALITY.Fact is, these are among the best IEM cables on the market. Westone's EPIC stock cables are better than Shure stock cables, but they both need to be upgraded. They are only 4-conductors (as opposed to ALO Audio's 8-conductor silver-plated copper IEM cable), BUT they are very well shielded and - for an unbalanced cable - present very little noise.Being pure silver (with maybe 1-3% gold content, as the name suggests Au = Elemental symbol of gold), they are naturally brighter and more focused, with a forward presenting soundstage.Build quality is excellent, typical of all Whiplash cables (Made in USA). The Viablue jack is a nice touch.Please ignore the other review that says Westones are incompatible. This cable does NOT deserve 1-star because the MMCX connector "peels off" a tiny bit of the plastic heat shrink.
