TRH158-0-8 Digital Temperature/Humidity Wall Thermometer with Built-in Sensor, 32/122° F Temperature Range

I bought this because it is supposed to be super accurate, after all it is the exact model that Dickey uses with their incubators. Well, next to five other thermometers it is off by more than the two or three tenths which is acceptable and somewhat normal. It is off by nearly two full degrees Celsius, this is absolutely unacceptable. So you are reading this and probably just said to yourself, "why would someone in Alabama be using Celsius?" Well it's because the unit does not work when you switch it to Fahrenheit, as in not at all.This is supposed to be one of the best but what I have is a piece of expensive garbage. Obviously this is not normal for these thermometers but if even one defective unit gets out of the factory then they seriously need to spend some more time at quality assurance. This is very disappointing. I may have just lost hundreds of dollars because this thermometer allowed my hatcher to get over temperature.
