Prudance Outdoor Solar Led Light

Love these little lights. Not really really bright but thats why I like them I put them above my garage doors, just enough light.Going to order more for the sides of my house.

I was needing these light so bad. They are cheap but was not concern. I put them up and they never turned on after a few days. The first was cloudy I understand. They came with batteries so I thought they were bad. So I bought new batteries and replace them. Still after 2 sunny days they still have not come on...

One light is working ok on one side and the other is not. I have replaced the batteries, etc. It is easy to put up, not a problem at all. Very useful and bright for solar light, would have wanted it a little bigger to cover more space.

I like these solar lights as accent lighting. I already had a couple that I bought last year and they are still going strong. I would purchase this item again.

Purchased two of these lights. Both lights the batteries are having shorts in essence they will not not charge. One of the lights has a switch that was overheated on installation therefore, will not function. I spent many years in electronics as a technician and functional tester. These lights are a great idea but need more attention to assembly and components. I would avoid this product at this time. Thank you! : )

This light was a very easy install..a simple set screw right into the gutter. Many items are using LED technology these days as LEDs use less power than incandescent lights or even halogens. When it's dark (very dark) and impossible to see to get the key into the lock, this light is wonderful. It's "bright enough" for me to do the job, but not so bright someone might notice it and maybe want to take it.It's supposed to withstand weather and I'm hoping it will. I've had mine installed for only about a week. It got rained on a couple times and it's still fine.Editing on November 27, 2014: I knocked it down to 4 stars as mine quickly (2,3 weeks) developed a bad connection out of the battery compartment. To fix I bought a single holder for the AA NiCad battery it came with and soldered small zip cord (maybe 22 gauge) inside onto the battery terminals, then ran it inside (the porch) to a switch. It's back to working and doing it this way allowed its internal on/off switch to turn the light on at dark on off at dawn.With this bit of extra effort I'm hoping it'll continue to work as fine as it had been.If I ended up getting 5-6 months out of this light I'd still buy another. Maybe my battery compartment was a bit not-great, but it's ok now that it's repaired.Also, mine stays on all night, and checking it at 5am it was still on fine (it had been on for 12 hours at that point).

Followed instructions to charge before install and they do not stay bright. After being in direct sunlight since installed they stay bright for an hour, then they get very dim and almost out totally within 3 hrs. I really wish they would be brighter longer.

Lights up a pretty big area. Its been working nice for over a month every night. For the price you can't go wrong.
