100% cotton, made extremely well in U.S.A.
Bought this little pillow case for my Japanese buckwheat hull pillow. People have stated in the reviews that it's not cotton- perhaps that's because 1, they didn't look inside and see that it states "100% cotton" and 2, because it's so fine-grained and smooth it seems it can't be cotton. Well it is and is, before washing, the smoothest most delicious feeling cotton pillow cover I've ever bought. Just wanted to get this info out for those of you that might believe the doubters. I try to buy all American goods if I can find them and also all natural fibres. Of course I would like them to be well-made products and don't mind spending a few extra dollars for something that supports American workers. This is one product that meets all my criteria and will last for decades- probably longer. A bargain that you pay for once and never have to buy again rather than go cheap and buy over and over again.

Good pillowcase spoiled by nasty zipper.
Nice cotton zippered pillowcase. Flap over zipper protects skin when in use. As described. Horrible thin small pull on zipper makes it unpleasant to use when zipping. Cotton is decent thickness for the job.

Travel sized or young toddler sized only
As long as you are aware that this will only work for tiny travel sized pillows or very small toddler sized pillows, this is a perfectly good dust mite protector. The cotton is high quality, densely woven, and very soft. This will NOT fit larger toddler pillows well such as the popular TODDLER PILLOW (13x18) in White & Prints - No Pillowcase Needed - Hypoallergenic - Machine Washable - Double Stitched - Made in Virginia - Sold ONLY by A Little Pillow Company (White) , as it's slightly too short even though the length is described as 20". We tried it and it felt too squished and affected the fluffiness of the pillow. Size up to the Allersoft Cotton Dust Mite and Allergy Control Pillow Protector, 16 by 24-Inch for your toddler pillow.
