Very easy to install light for those that want a quick solution
Having recently moved in to a new house, backing on to a park, I wanted a security light to keep my garden and rear of the house safe. I have paddleboards store in the shed and down the side of the house. Normally, I would look to fit a mains-powered security light, but we have a convervatory running the full length of the back of the house and nowhere to take a mains feed from and being too tight to pay an electrician, I looked instead for a solar light and this looked like it would fit the bill.I was a little sceptical that it would be bright enough, being a solar powered light, but it is absolutely fine for my needs. It lights up the whole of our rear patio with plenty of light. Now, when I let the dogs out for a wee before bed, I can actually see if they go or not!The light has 2 lighting modes. When it gets dark, it powers on, but in a low powered mode, providing just enough light to see an area underneath it. In my case, it is fastend above the conservatory door, so it lights the door area so you can see where you are stepping in the pitch black (we live near Dartmoor, it gets very dark!). Then, when it detects movement, the 2 spot lights kick in and illuminate whereever they are pointing with a nice bright light and the middle light also gets brighter. I wasn't sure at first if I like the dim mode, thinking it would drain the battery. But it doesn't, even in the early hours the light still works and gives off a strong light if motion sets it off. I've decided I do like the always on dim light now because it also acts as a deterrent. A burglar can see you have a light before they even approach.Fitting it was a breeze. It comes with screws, but I didn't even bother using those. I just used some self-adhesive pads to stick it to the plastic of the outside of the conservatory and after 3 months, its still up no problems. Much less hassle than wiring something up.It's so good, I'm getting one for the front of the house and the side where we store our bins. All without drilling a single hole and running on the free power of the sun! What more could you want! :)I've attached a couple of pics showing it fitted. Then one pic of our patio at night (you can see the fairy lights on the fence) and then one as I open the door and step out, triggering the light. Hope that helps.

Adjustable direction of beams and solar panel-Definitely Needed!
Unfortunately our old Oxyled Solar lights packed in after about 5 years so we decided it was time for an upgradeI got these because they had the ability to move and focus the beams in different places which our others didntWhen these arrived I noticed that they were in fact even better than that because the solar panel can also be adjustedThese are really easy to fit, unlike other ones ive had where you have to drill through and trap the light on, you drill your holes and these slot over the top which meant I could use some already existing holes from an old hanging basket yo hang this fromDownside is that they are also easier to steal because they're detachable, tho I imagine unlikely they'll get stolen, still possibilityThe solar panel is strange compared to others ive had, this has a matt finish rahrer than a glossy glass cover, only time will tell how well they weather but so far theyve lasted several weeks with no signs of anything, will update this in a couple of years with their progressThe build quality seems pretty solid, theyre well sealed and I accidentally dropped one putting it up and it was absolutely fine, just a slight skuffGiven the price, these are about same as what I paid for my others roughly about 5 years ago, but they seem to be a lot better at battery and storingI live in UK where its not very sunny and these seem to charge up enough in the daytime (April at time of writing) that they last most the evening.Unlike others this has a low light mode which is constantly on then becomes brighter as detects movement, this is good as they're near some steps however i dont know if that means theyll discharge too quickly, the test for that will be winter!Overall it seems to charge up enough in the daytime, they have good wide but bright beams which are ideal and you can position them anywhereCompared to my old set these are way better!!Very pleased with them

Surprisingly bright
I've been looking for some supplemental lighting for my garden for some time and these fit the bill admirably. Literally fit and forget. They came with mounting screws and they just hook over the top of the protruding screwhead. They aren't floodlight bright, but perfectly adequate for my purpose. Smaller than I expected, but surprisingly bright. The two outer, round, lights can be swivelled and angled to suit. As can the solar panel to get the most direct angle to the sunlight. Motion sensor works well. Only grumble is the on/off switch requires using the supplied probe to press through a small hole, and you have no idea if you've switched them on or off until they don't come on, but apart from that I think they are good value.

Works like a charm
I've been needing to replace my old halogen light with a IR lamp so I thought I'd give them a bash £39.99 for two seemed very reasonable, no mains to fiddle with and solar charging.Mounting was very simple, two screws drilled into my garage wall and hooked into place. Turned on by the little key and left charging. One is in almost south facing on the wall for my garden and the other is north face so not ideal.Darkness came and like my solar garden lights they automatically come on in a low power dim mode which is nice. Not very bright, so not disturbing. One you walk within 3 or 4 meters of the sensor to turn on to max brightness. It's a white light, not over powering but bright enough to light up my do and make putting in the key easy. The light can be angled to suit which is excellent.Overall these are cracking IR Solar Lamps and great value for money.
