This is exactly what it claimed to be top notch welding helmet. It is comfortable and really has some flexibility in adjustment. The darkening is instant and the adjustable darkness works excellent and is a weld saver. I love this thing!

Clarity Is the best I've ever seen
I've used a few different hoods like harbor freight, speedglas and miller and none of those compare to this helmet. Switching from almost any of the other mainstream brand helmets to this one will feel like youve been welding blind up until now. Because of the blue shade rather than greener tints it makes it easier to see any soapstone markings and the edge of your puddle 10x easier to see. Grind button is easy to find and operate with thicker stick welding gloves and the padding on the front AND back makes it perfect to wear all day and wont fall off or dig into your head when you tighten it down more to stay on when youre welding out of position. Beautiful piece of equipment.

This helmet delivers!
This helmet delivers, not only is the helmet light and comfortable, the clarity and visibility are as advertised! I probably would not recommend the additional cost for the hobby welder, but is definitely worth the expense for career welders at all levels.
