When I got these in I thought my cat6e waterproof splice problems were over. It quickly became apparent they weren't. These things keep water out like the titanic after impact. I burned through 2 of them right after the first rainstorm. The next ones I made sure were nice and tight, one even accidentally stripping it was so tight. Believe it or not, that stripped one actually kept water out the longest. Now I've lost the last two. Suffice it to say I will be starting my search again as I will not be using these again.

These look to be well sealed.Terminated cables will fit through the holes with some effort. Cables with strain relief are a tight fit but will work.

I have used just plain network cable connectors and they eventually crack and break due to the heat. With this you insert a cable in at each end then screw together. However it may take a slight bit of trimming if the cable has the no snag type connector.

Product arrived promptly and in excellent condition. I am using it to connect two 150 ft. CAT 8 cables. Getting the connectors through the entrance of the left and right end pieces was a tight squeeze and required some effort to push it through. Once through they were easily connected to the middle section and resulted in a lossless connection. It appears to achieve a good watertight seal, although I didn't immerse it in water to verify it.
