Update: Didnt work (does work)
Update:Sadly due to my ignorance i didnt know i had to push the button down for 3 seconds to turn on. Works like a charmSadly i bought an extra cooker for a house im moving to so had stored till now. Bought it on sep 8 i believe and barely took it out. And it doesnt work, nothing turns on besides the red play button and thats it. Tried different outlets and stuff and water is at the right level. I guess ill stick to inkbird cookers

This unit works perfectly. It's well made and easy to use.
Not the usual cooking method most cooks are used to using. So far I've only used it to cook steaks and I will tell you the result was a perfectly cooked medium rare every time. It will change the way you cook.

Broke on SECOND use and zero response from customer service
Broke/stopped working on second use. Emailed bonsenkitchen and never got a response. Worked good on first use but something is wrong inside and the minute you turn it on it pops the breaker so have to assume there's some type of short inside. Would have loved for customer support to have responded and made an attempt to make it right.

Great for pasteurizing eggs
I use this for pasteurizing eggs in a large pot. The first few runs I verified the temperature using a separate probe thermometer. The water maintained a steady temperature the entire time. Not bad for such an inexpensive unit.

Confused
Why ask the thickness and flavor? You cook with it not eat it. Other wise works great. Best steak and chops l’ve ever had. Try one I’m sure you’ll like it.

Works with effort
Product works great once you get the screen working. The touch screen did not always want to turn on from the get go I have to keep hitting the start/ pause button to get the other prompts to show.
