Q: Does anyone know how these compare to Captains of Crush in terms of rating?

I have both. I added separately The Captain of Crunch 120lbs. to build my Strength to get to 150lbs. in this set. Captain of Crunch, has better knurling for grip. Both grippers work very well.

Q: Does it have a metal smell to it? After being in your hands for a while?

No..and if you can hold it long enough to have a smell you need to go up in resistance. ;)

Q: Are they individually engraved with the weight on them?

Yes they are engraved individually the weight

Q: Will these get you bigger hands, wrist and forearms?

They will certainly strengthen your grip and develop your forearms if you stick with it. However, they are not steroids though.
