Really good for scratches on paint

After waxing, there was not that deep shine that I was used to after using Zymol. I feel for 35.00 it was very runny and not what I expected. I have used this product for 10 years and have never been so disappointed.

This new formula will scratch the clearcoat on your vehicle.

I ordered the original formula of Zymol through Amazon and received this version instead by mistake. The only difference to the bottle in appearance is the sticker on the front designating Si02 and a back sticker added to cover over the original UPC code still partially visible on the label. The ingredients stated are exactly the same. (SEE PICS) It's been at least 3 years since I last purchased Zymol and at that time most local auto part stores and even Walmart carried it in readily in stock. Today that's no longer the case. You order Zymol now strictly online which is ok but sadly that's not all that's changed. Granted the formula has the same familiar scent which we all know and love but even that's less strong. However, more importantly, the liquid formula itself is no longer creamy and thick but instead completely watery even after shaking the bottle for the recommended minute or two. (SEE PIC) Obviously, I'm returning the product to Amazon. However, I wondered if the watery thickness of this lotion is also the case for the other version of Zymol which is still being touted as the original formula yet at a much lower price. After going back and reading more reviews on it I suspect the case there is probably the same. Some reviewers suggested that the Si02 formula I received is primarily targeted to certain more restricted states like CA but the ingredients listed appear to be exactly the same. Sadly, I just think that the original company likely changed hands and this product is now being manufactured at different plants than just one source like the original with differing quality control standards currently in place. A stamped lot # which appeared on the older bottles no longer appears on the newer plastic bottles suggesting less tracking by the manufacturer and not for the consumer's benefit in the end. This convinces me that all items sold today likely don't originate from the same original factory. I can't attest to the durability of this new product being sold. In fact, who knows it may even work much better. Maybe I'm too set in my ways for my own good and shouldn't give up on this product so readily. However, my tried and true philosophy remains that if something isn't broke why then go ahead and fix it? I guess now I'll be looking for a new cleaner wax brand located on Amazon to replace my old familiar standby.

Very easy to use, dries quickly and does a good job removing dirt from the clearcoat. Been using it for years.
