As it says in the introduction to the book, its definitely not for beginners. It should be used in conjunction with or along side Excel 2013 Bible by the same author. It is ideally suited to anyone that uses excel in their work or on a regular basis or has passed either the ECDL or ECDL advanced Excel. This book covers some of the material required for the ECDL Advanced exam that isn't in the Excel Bible 2013.As others have stated the book is fairly heavy and doesn't lend itself to be carried around, however there are electronic versions available. Some have stated the lack of colour, this after all is a technical book for people that want to increase their existing knowledge of a very complex program, I feel that the addition of colour would more than likely increase the costs of printing this book, it's already between £20 to £32 depending on where you buy it from.

Excellent Reference and a must for Excel enthusiasts.
Always great books from John, a little disappointed as the CD was not available, which is why I purchased the PaperBack copy over the Kindle. Should have read the comments as files are available online

An excellent book to dip into if you have a problem. Much more detailed than my "old formula book"

Filled with great formulas that are easy to follow and re-produce
Great book - So much usable and helpful information. Got me through a difficult project by providing solutions I didn't know existed. Love the book and the simple and easy to follow processes. Made me the Excel expert in my department :-)
