The book quality and story
The book was in a really good quality ✨Penelope Douglas is one of my favourite author and many of her books are really scandals just like this one. I specifically love this story but many of you might not love it so, you better first find about, what this story is about before buying it

Good yet a bit unsatisfactory. Spoilers ahead.
I have loved Penelope Douglas since I read her book Bully and I haven't stopped. If I need a hard read, I come to her. Where the characters are full of feelings- hate, anger, sadness, love. I love the chase, the banter, the tension, and finally coming together. That said this book was same. Intense hot and very different. Three guys and one girl up in the hills. I loved the premise. I loved the heat, the tension, the banter, the story, the characters. It was choas, it was breathtaking. But there was one thing missing.Spoilers aheadHow can she choose Kelab? How did she fall in love with him when he acted as a jerk Everytime. He doesn't speak till the end! She had more connection with Jake, with Noah. But it was like a known thing. The one who behaved very badly, was a complete jerk to the girl. Won. It didn't make sense. Couldn't connect. After it became clear with whom she is gonna end with, I read and towards 10% left, I skimmed because it got boring. I saw no development in the girl. I saw no connection. With that said, I liked the 70% of the book. So the rating.

Loved it and at the same time...
Spoilers ahead!Right after I read the burb, I wanted the book. Badly. This story has some dark theme (but its not dark), and really dirty (It was so hot lol) What I loved the most was the writing style and the story as a whole. You will be sucked in from the first page (so don't read it after dinner, you might not sleep all night) The characters are amazing too, each with their own flaws and how they deal with it, at the same time support Tiernan.---(Spoilers here, don't read it if you haven't read the book - spoilers will ruin the story)Tiernan is a very complex character, and I love how she comes out of her shell. What I don't understand kind of, is why she ended up choosing the one guy she never had much interaction with. I loved Kaleb, but I think his character was the least explored in the whole story. When the book ended, I realised I never got time to spend with Kaleb and to understand him. He had a lot to offer to the plot. The other guys, Jake and Noah, both felt something for Tiernan, and *ahem* acted on it. But later, with Kaleb in the picture, it was as if nothing happened. The feelings just fizzled out. I think that wasn't dealt with properly.--Be warned: This book is filthy, Alexa Riley hot but with an intriguing plot, and taboos galore.4 stars

Omg 😳😳
I always knew that Penelope Douglas tries to out do herself every time she releases a book but this one was damn had me in tears there for a minute I know how taboo this is but when u concentrate on the part where she explains the 3 Ls I think I understood tiernnan there a bit how she was neglected but still took her risks to experience something out of the box even when she knew it's going to hurt I really liked how the book was smooth and oh the steamy romance really got me this time but the book was worth ohhh plzzz every Penelope Douglas book is worth it I really adore and love her writings a lot every book she comes up with something new and refreshing perspective

ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS IVE EVER READ
Where do I begin?Ive never felt something like what I felt reading this book. There is nothing like it.It is insanely beautiful, confusing, heart wrenching, explores limits, incredibly sad and satisfying all at the same time.I will say that this book is not meant for everyone, if you like soft romance, smut and overall a fun read, this isn’t for you. While the smut is there and it’s GOOD, the deep meaning of everything going around the smut is much harder to swallow, than the action of it.If you are like me and like to feel (anything and everything) while you read, this book is for you.Credence has a place in my heart like no other, I have no words left to say only that…This book is poem that will tear you down and lift you up all in the same.Thankyou Penelope Douglas, Credence is one of kind.

A new all-time favourite!! This book is AMAZING.
Credence is like poetry to me. It pulled every possible emotion out of me, reaching inside and rewiring me at the core. I get chills just thinking about this book. I am speechless in so many ways and in awe of Penelope Douglas's writing. I commend them for writing this story that is unconventional, raw, and gripping. I don't even know how to write a review that will do it justice. So I'm warning you, this will be a bit of a hot mess. Many potential triggers -- please review content warnings as needed. This is a borderline taboo romance with multiple love interests.Tiernan de Haas is the product of two famous parents that have only ever loved each other. She's been neglected her entire life, and at age 17, she is emotionally stunted and withdrawn. After the sudden death of her parents, she takes a chance to temporarily escape the Hollywood spotlight and travels to live with her father's estranged step brother and his two sons in a remote mountain town in Colorado. It's here that she finds the human connection she's never known.I often struggle to connect to teenage protagonists because of my own age, but I saw so many pieces of myself in Tiernan. Her journey had me so invested. On the surface, she's a privileged woman, but underneath, she's a struggling, disconnected, broken, mess. And perhaps this is why this book affected me so deeply. If you're a member of the sad girl's club, this book might just speak to your soul."Pain always reminds us that we’re alive. And the fear along with it that we want to stay that way."I don't want to give too much information about this story or its characters. I truly think it needs to be experienced as each layer unfolds. If you're convinced that the boundary-pushing nature of this book is not your thing, I completely understand and respect that. However, if you are at all curious and would like to be pushed out of your comfort zone a little, I highly recommend reading this book.I don't really read taboo romance books. There is no blood relation here so it's really on the border — but the lines are definitely blurred and it has the potential to make readers very uncomfortable. I didn't know if I would like it, but I surprised myself. It felt so wrong at times, but also so right. It didn't feel gimmicky; the emotion and connection was believable for me, and it worked. This book has so much of what I look for in fiction. It's emotionally intense, gripping, angsty, poetic, masterfully put-together… and it’s pretty dark & twisted. It doesn't fit in a box, it's like no story I've read before, and its incredibly affective. While most of the plot is character driven, there is also some mystery and suspense and I could not put it down. The characters are all so unique and well-developed; each relationship Tiernan cultivates is unique, complex, and affects her in a different way. I had no idea how it was going to end, and the conclusion exceeded my expectations. And look — just because this is a contemporary romance, doesn't mean it's healthy. Penelope Douglas doesn't write healthy; their characters are flawed, broken and make mistakes. All of the men in this book are toxic in their own way, and if you are someone that has a hard time forgiving characters for bad behaviour, this book may really frustrate you. This book will not be for everyone, and that's ok.Personally, this book has sold me on Penelope Douglas and I can't wait to read the rest of their backlist... Although, I have a feeling that this one will remain my favourite.

It’s all so wrong, but so GOOD!!
It's all so wrong, but so good. Everyone is so lost that they end up finding each other in such a raw and hard way. I cried, I smiled, I sighed... damn. It's very spicy, very intense... very easy to imagine that we are in that environment, we feel the rain, the snow... the smells. Very easy to read, because we get completely addicted.
