Great for the led signs! Kids love them! Sturdy durable and battery life is pretty good on them

Somewhat satisfied with product
When working these are really nice lighting effects. 4 star rating because they are not as good of quality as I would like. Had trouble with battery terminals. Some of the units needed to have connectors readjusted so that they could touch the batteries. Other issue is they really go through the batteries fast. I even use Ever Ready and Duracell batteries. Lights on for about 3 hours at a time and the batteries need replacing after just a few days.

Works perfectly with batteries and plugged in
I hesitated in purchasing these because of one review concerning difficulty with using them with batteries instead of plugging them in. That hasn't been my experience at all. For a week now I've used the remote to turn on/off and consistently run these for several hours PER NIGHT without any issue. The only time I plugged the units in was to just test them to make sure none were defective (and they all worked). In fact, I'm so happy with my purchase I'm planning on placing another order to have on hand as I engrave additional acrylic blanks!

work great
Battery life is great, love the remote, very affordable, and look really nice when lit. They fit great with the 2mm acrylic pieces I have, and the design lights up perfectly.

Cool Acrylic LED Lights
Run best plugged in (5v). On battery power alone (4.5v), either did not work at all, or worked sporadically -- lit up all white and would not cycle through colors. Dimensions listed were inaccurate. Cord is kinda short. Acrylic insert blank design shown is my own. Takes 1/8" plexiglass (0.118") well.
