July 10th, 2023: Received my new 2nd Oxypure unit after returning the prior one I bought on June 24th, 2023 (weeks ago) kept failing as the fan/blower was intermittent; panel lights stayed on but blower would not work. Also had many issues getting the wifi to work on the air filter - spent hours. Customer service was horrible, no replies to any of my e-mails and calls. Finally got a rep on the phone from OxyPure whom stated repairs and returns were over 1 to 1-1/2 month out, they were short on supplies and could not even ship a new unit to me. I cleaned all the filters inside the unit, my house a/c line voltage is fine, it was a heating problem or thermal device failing. Glad I bought on Amazon. Easy returns.... so I ordered a another "new" one from Amazon.Both units claim to be new but after getting my (new) unit today, I did see a difference. My last "new" unit was not new and not in OEM packing despite being told here on Amazon by the seller it was "new" with a 5 year warranty. My 2nd unit I got today had an actual OEM box with its logo and all the normal colors and info on the box, and was inserted inside a proper shipping box. The wifi setup only took about 4 minutes on my 2nd new OxyPure filter system and is currently running. I only hope it does not fail after 2 weeks like the first one. If so, I may have to look at another unit of a different brand.The company needs to post a wifi MAC address sticker on each unit so you know what the address is when setting it up in your router.... they do not provide any information and if you are not computer or electronic smart, you may have problems.Will update in a few weeks and see if it is still running.

Love everything about the product, except it has the same flaw as many dehumidifiers in that it doesn’t ‘return to state’ after a power outage. It stays ‘off’ and cannot be turned on remotely via the app. Kind of defeats the point of a ‘smart’ system that should do its thing without the user having to worry about. This should be fixed by the designers. Don’t know if they can ‘push’ such an update to my 3 systems.

I have to tell you. This Nuwave air purifier is the best money spent. I never thought I would buy something like this but I couldn’t take the smell in the apartment anymore. It would be so bad at times, my throat would burn and feel like it was cut inside. I even went as far as to install an exhaust fan in the bathroom to pull the in the fresh air through the apartment from the kitchen and out through the fan and still the smell lingered and as strong as ever. I bought two because at first my daughter suffers from asthma and refused for me to buy it for her but then I thought if I purchased two of them, she wouldn’t say no. We installed hers first and we noticed a change in the air quality in her apartment and the rooms seemed to be cooler. I still waited a few days (my skepticism kicked into overdrive) to hear about her experience and the environment in her apartment and she said and keeps saying “thank you for getting me this filter. You once again protected me from another monster”. Of course it Jerked a tear to hear that from my little girl as she suffers from asthma and sinus problems. It was time for mines to be put to the test. I unpacked it, pulled all the filters and unwrapped them and then to the test area and turned off the exhaust fan. I initially turned it on, set to “Ultimate Clean” and “Turbo” for the first half hour. When the timer finished, I stepped out of my room and to my amazement, the smell was gone! I called out to my wife who tirelessly cleans and tries to keep the area as clean as possible and I mean, we have tried every cleaning product out in the market but the pet urine is too strong. She came out into the space and I asked what does she smell and she replied “nothing” and I told her “good, I’m keeping it”.

First impressions of the NuWave air purifier, big, powerful, nice looking and very quiet on lower settings. Even on top setting where it blows a heck of a lot of air it isn’t impossible to sit next to it.The Nuwave is a lot bigger than my Sans but with comes with obviously a much more powerful fan and has the added flexibility of an app to control it. I decided to get a second purifier for the main part of the house and use the Sans in my often dusty bedroom. I like the Sans but was drawn to the NuWave as it has several filters and a couple of them are washable and they provide spares of the other filters. There should be no filter replacement costs for five years at least. In fact when I got it there was a sticker saying if I registered my NuWave they will send me figure spare filters for free. I will update the review if anything changes but right now I am delighted with my purchase. Let’s see how it performs over the coming days!

We picked this model whole house purifier after searching online and then comparing products on amazon. We've only had it for a few days so far, but it appears to be everything advertised. It sits across from our bedroom, and we don't even hear it run. It was an easy set up with good instructions. Good purchase.
