CURVED FOIL CUTTER: PRAISE GOD
Finding a waiter's corkscrew WITH A CURVED FOIL CUTTER is like finding a needle in a haystack. I've been bartending for years (mostly at restaurants they sell a considerable amount of wine) and a foil cutter that is curved makes a big difference. The hinge mechanism is a little tight, but with grease it will open more easily eventually.

Get It. In fact, get two.
The best corkscrew I have ever owned. Heavy, heavy use in three restaurants and a country club. I think it lasted me a couple of years at least until I dropped it one too many times (dropped it a LOT).The foil cutter is curved and serrated. Easy to cut foil every time.The corkscrew itself is long enough for Italian wine corks, and the double-hinged mechanism provides great leverage and doesn't chip bottle lips.It has a nice, solid construction.

Just tossed it in the trash
I was looking for a double hinged corkscrew. This one isn't a keeper.Each hinged piece is super stiff which results in placing undue stress on the cork as it comes out of the bottle. It's just badly engineered and built.Shop on for something better
