I just installed mine on a 5.56 bolt. One I put the bolt back into the bolt carrier, I tried standing the bcg up on the bolt, to test how well it will stand before compressing. It failed that test miserably, the bolt is extremely sloppy loose inside the carrier, my old worn out rings have twice as much resistance as this new one. I can't really justify returning them as shipping costs almost as much as the rings them selfs. At this point I'm not sure if I'm just going to order new rings, and run this till they get here, or if I'm just going to put my old rings back on and throw this one in the trash.

Some people might call it a worthless upgrade, but I but these on all my bolts and they work perfectly. Not to mention they'll never break or wear out.

Purchased a set from don't seem like original JP parts. Requesting refund. Buyer beware. Parts came in a simple package no markings. I also purchased an original set and I compared both. Original is on right side of photo.Update: seller was quick in responding to my request. They seem sincere and are providing a refund.

Works great on my Aero Precision CBG. Provides less friction but seals real well. JPE makes high quality components, I use their captive spring buffer system.
