better than the broken one in my door. and easy install...
First, I have been known to be handy, and worked on my own car extensively. Electrical scares the poop out of me, I have seen simple crossed wires cause havik. My motor in my power window started creaking, and a loud bang while starting the car left me baffled. Then the window dropped into the door and I was stranded on a holiday weekend in CA. I managed to pin the window up for the drive home to AZ 100 degrees outside and 100mph on freeway. Parts arrived in 24 hours, actually faster than promised, (thank you). The parts were safely packed and appropriately packed. There were no bolts or hardware included nor was there any documentation, or manuals, but it wasn't advertised as such so save your original hardware and document or watch how you disassemble the original. The door came apart in minutes, where I compared parts between original and replacement before starting the job. Perfect match, tape up window with masking to frame of door. (2) bolts out, (2) bolts top and (2)bolts bottom of window track, (3) bolts on motor assembly. Carefully back it out through the access panel, insert replacement reverse the (7) bolts process reattach the window bolts. It took me having never done this process less than 1 hour, as I took door assembly apart I labled every cable and wire with masking tape and separated the bolts into bowls so I could easilly re-assemble the door. The cost was just the part here on Amazon, and an hour of efforts, Honda wanted $150 for parts, and 2 hours of labor at over $75/hr the out the door quote was $400 if they didn't encounter other issues they said(!)? Seriously easy, and the part runs great, it is slower up and down than the OEM motor and maybe louder but barely if I am not imagining it. Great part, great seller, easy fix, major savings for a novice DIY guy....

Good value and fast delivery.
Wow. The nearest other price I could find was over $100.00 and would take a week to arrive. Dealer said he would have to order it in specially. This part slipped in to exactly the same spot as the old one and worked perfectly the3 first time. A great buy.

Worked like a charm!
I purchased this as a replacement when my window would not longer move more than a few inches up or down and made a horrible crackling sound when I would try and lower the window. It kind of sounded like broken glass being ground up but there was no damage to my glass. When this happened I was confused and worried because it was in the middle of summer and couldn't get the window down (I also had an A/C issue a the time). I took off the door panel and couldn't really see anything wrong, it looked like the motor was moving up to a point but would not lower the window more than a few inches. From the openings in the door it's really hard to tell what's going on because of the metal braces built into the door in case of a crash. I ordered this part hoping this would solve my issue and that it would actually fit my Odyssey which it did no problem so I was grateful that it was labeled and if it didn't fit I would have wasted time trying to change the unit only to have to put the old one back in and ship this back and wait for another replacement. Glad that didn't happen. I watched a few youtube videos showing how to remove the existing unit but really if you are handy you should be able to figure it out. It doesn't come with new bolts but simply use the ones from the old unit and you will not have a problem. I suggest taking out the old unit first and then laying the new and old unit next to each other and move the bolts over one at a time so you make sure they are placed exactly where they should go. Once I was done which was about 1 hr in total the window worked as new and I have not had any issues since! Affordable, fast delivery and fit with no issues, what more can you ask for!

Perfect fit, works great, easy install!
Works perfectly, fits perfectly! They even included the bolts on the motor mount, and one on the track mechanism to be able to situate it when installing! That was very much appreciated! There's an excellent video on Youtube describing how to remove and install this. It makes it a breeze! I got it done in less than 45 minutes, and I was taking my time. I only hope this one lasts as long as the OEM one (19 years!). Save yourself a lot of labor and parts costs and do this yourself. It's a whole lot better than driving around with your window taped up.

Require harness modification
Mechanically, the part is improved with a better design that won't fall apart where the cables engage the motor. It also has a revised wiring harness that would not work with my 2004 Odyssey EX- RES. I had to cut a harness from my factory part and cut in/splice to the Dorman part to get it to work.
