Ascension Press Pocket Guide to Adoration

The book it self is wonderful .I have finally received this book. It was lost in transit and the people sell8ng this book were great at getting back to me. They finally set me a second one and I have finally received it. I can only say they were great with communication.

A small pocket book but all I need for medication during adoration is there even during my own self reflection moments. Been looking for one since I migrate to UK and I was sad not to find adoration chapel, so instead, I do it at home and read this amazing book.

Many a times, I am at lost what to do in the Adoration Room, and there are just so much 'noise' in my mind, which makes focusing my gaze on Jesus seemed rather superficial. When this book arrived, I opened a random page, and started reading about St John XX111 (page 106). I like the format: 1. Read 2. Mediate 3. Pray 4. Contemplate 5. Resolve I am grateful, and greatly movitated after reading: "... to remind me that it is not your will that I should beat myself up if I am fickle in my relationshipwith you. Instead, I will trust in your mercy and cling to the hope that every day is a new opportunity to renew my resolve to make your love the center of my life. " I am looking forward to using this book in the Adoration Room, and would highly recommend this book. P.S. I am buying 3 more copies to gift to my family.

I always found holy hours in front of the blessed sacrament to be a challenge; I never knew what to do there besides a rosary, and my mind would wander. With this book, I found more focus, with reflections from the saints, prayers, and scripture relevant to the moment. Easy to use and easy to comprehend. High quality leather cover too. A wonderful aid to my prayer life!

I would have liked the Benediction prayers (in Latin and English).
