A privileged chance to see Rose Uniackeโs work in the form of a private tour of her London homeโthe crucible for all her design ideasโin her first book, produced as a limited edition of 2,500 copies. Airy and light, delicate and robust, grand and intimate, raw and luxurious: these are just some of the qualities and contradictions that resonate within the work and home of Rose Uniacke. This sumptuous volume, the first on the designer, has been conceived with Uniacke to her bespoke specifications. Masterfully photographed by Franรงois Halard, the book unfolds gatefold after gatefold as a series of privileged glimpses inside Uniackeโs home, with the designerโs own words as our guideโan intimate and exclusive portrait of a home rarely gained access to as well as a window onto the workings of one of our leading design minds. Her work is distinguished by warmth, character, and an extraordinary serenity, and mirroring these qualities the book is a luxury object made from some of the same materials featured in Uniackeโs home: a unique cotton duck canvas slipcase houses the book itself, which is wrapped in pure new wool. Completing this indispensable book in design history are texts from the architect of Uniackeโs home, Vincent Van Duysen, and her landscape architect, Tom Stuart-Smith. Review: Lovely book, but โฆ - This is a beautiful book, even the cover is gorgeous but I prefer the images and text in her other book. This book is too large to comfortably hold, with beautiful images and minimal text. I feel that her other book has more substance to it. Review: Sumptuous imagery - Rich photography, fabulous interiors; an inspiring read.

Beautiful book but no floor plans
Beautiful book with photographs of great quality and excellent text by Rose Uniacke. She really has an eye to create highly sophisticated yet relaxed interiors. But where are the floor plans????

Stunning and Sublime.
It is indeed an 'experience' to delve into this beautifully produced volume. Uniacke's home, like her work for others, is calm, considered and comfortable. If you weren't able to get a copy (it was a limited edition) hope ask the publisher to reprint it. An unusual and inspiring book.

Beautifully executed but I was hoping for a greater range of work.
I was excited to finally get a copy of this book! The presentation of the book is lovely and her own home is (clearly) a testament to her talent, but her home has been photographed/written about so many times before, there was hardly any new content which I found disappointing. I would not have purchased this book had I been able to look through it before purchasing.
