Amazing value for many quick applications. I was just doing head and torso with little movement. Just prepare to iron and use a broom stick or something in the bottom to keep it tight

This totally does what it is supposed to do. 4 stars because the instructions to put it together are not that great and it s beyond difficult for one person to hang the backdrop.

No hole in the top, the stand is able to feed through the fabric, which I wasn’t sure about from the ad. But you have to cut a hole right in the middle so you can actually use that. Then the clamps would become irrelevant. Thereshould be two stands so the vertical bar isn’t protruding in the middle, If you have another stand like from a 3 point light etc. you could use that because both ends of the pole have a hole in it. Then you could use the clamps on the side to hold it taught and take out the wrinkles. I’d recommend getting a second background stand for cheap to do so. The product should come with that. And yeah it goes up to maybe just under 6 feet? I was taken aback by how short it was when raised. It’s fine as a cheap starting point though.

I like the backdrop I ordered. It makes a great scene for the background. I am having a lot of fun with my new backdrop.It is a nice size and the color is awesome.

I ordered this to shoot self-tape auditions as our home has few walls without windows. I made the mistake of not immediately setting it up or I would have returned it. The backdrop is super thin and the center bar shows through. It’s useless for the purpose we need it for. Unfortunately, I didn’t discover this until I needed to use it and by then we were outside the return window. Lay a few bucks more and get something that has the supports on both sides. I don’t think even a thicker backdrop will make this stand useful.
