Is this a manufacturing defect?
I bought 2 bottles and both of them have a slit at the bottom of the bottle as can be seen clearly in pic.

Rundum zufrieden
Eine große Mundöffnung, eine mittlere Füllmenge und die Höhe passend zu meiner Alltagstasche, keine Thermoisolierung, leicht, möglichst wenig Schnickschnack - das waren die Suchkriterien für meine Trinkflasche für jeden Tag. Sigg kenne ich für seine Trinkflaschen bereits aus meiner Kindheit und schätze die Marke. Die "Original" kommt im schlichten klassischen Look daher, lässt den typischen Henkel nicht vermissen und passt in Rot gut zu allen anderen Alltagsgegenständen. Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack dürfte das Rot eine Nuance dunkler sein, und der Glanz des Metalls gefällt mir nicht so recht, aber beides nehme ich gerne in Kauf dafür, dass sonst alles passt. Die Flasche ist dicht, angenehm am Henkel zu tragen und absolut geschmacksneutral. Ich bin mir sicher, dass sie mir viele Jahre gute Dienste leisten wird!
