I drink a lot of water. Really, that's practically all I drink so I was looking for something large enough that would keep my water ice cold. I'm glad I bought this 40 oz Takeya bottle as it is large enough for me (although it won't fit in your standard cup holders -- in vehicles, strollers) and it keeps my water cold when I have ice in there. The ice lasts a while. They are durable but I have dropped twice and it got a few scuffs but it's expected. I would definitely buy again in other colors.Update: It's been a few months and I wish the cap was insulated or something that would prevent it from "running". The bottle itself is dry but the condensation on the cap drips as soon as I tilt it.Still like my bottle though.

Bought this little gem for a service based missions trips to new mexico during the heat of summer. It excelled wonderfully. Kept cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. Easy to clean and a large capacity (I bought the 40oz version). This fit in the cupholders of the van we were using and was a key to staying hydrated and healthy. Durable, no dents or leaks through the abuse I delivered to itThe only mistake I made here was purchasing the white one. I thought the color would help keep the beverage cold, but it really wasn't necessary - the insulation did the job for me. It did get a little dirty and scuffed throughout the week of hard work. but held up remarkably well

I bike commute and absolutely need my water bottle to be leak proof and TOUGH. I hit a massive pothole going 20+ miles per hour on an ebike. My bottle flew out of its holder and crashed to the pavement. It stayed closed and barely had a dent. I routinely shove these bottles into my backpack and they have never, ever leaked. The bottle/cap do not absorb smells and also work great for protein smoothies. Liquids stay cold for 6+ hours. Highly recommend.

At least I can't tell the difference. But my wallet can. This 40oz container is the same diameter as my 32 oz Hydroflask, but taller of course.= It fits the same into the wider cup holder extender I have in the car for the Hydroflask.= The 32oz Hydroflask cap fits this container, safe assumption a 40oz cap will too. The straw in the 32oz straw cap can be substututed with a longer thin silicone straw. The thicker silicone straws don't seal around the cap's tube. Or I can use the cap it came with, and insert a long silicone straw into the opening... it bends when the twist cap is on, pops back out when screwed off.=The original lid has a gripper ring around it that I especially like. Specifically, though, the handle and screw cap portions don't feel quite as sturdy as Hydroflask lids - they have thinner attachments. But if it's going to get rough handling, I can always screw on a Hydroflask lid.Very happy with the quality for the price.

This is helpful to always keep some water in the car when out do calls to clients for my business. Keeps my water cool even if my truck gets hot. My last one cracked the cap for the drinking spot while tightening it down. Not sure if that was me screwing it a little too tight. I replaced it with the same bottle so that should say that it is a good product.

I absolutely LIVE by this bottle, I like to have cold or just regular cool water with me to drink throughout the day. That being said, I usually fill up my bottle in the morning with cold water from the fridge, and by the evening (around 6pm) the water is STILL cool!! When I fill it up with my homemade slushies it also takes hours for it to melt which is perfect on hot days. I love that it has also kept my hot chai tea hot for hours on end. The washing is easy too with if you use some warm/hot soapy water and soak it for 20 minutes, there will be no smells left. There have been absolutely no leaks from the bottle, Ive even filled it with soda and the pressure didn't cause leakage either. The little plastic loop makes carrying easy whether its in your hand, clipped to a backpack, or even hanging on your bike handle. The rubber lining at the top is great for holding onto the bottle when you're drinking. Forget clunky bank breaking bottles, THIS is the real deal!!!

I purchased this bottle to replace my 40oz Hydroflask. I thought that no other bottle could replace it. Boy was I wrong! This bottle has kept my water cold for more than 24 hours. I love the fact it’s leak proof and spout on it. My Hydroflask had the straw and it didn’t even reach down to the bottom of the bottle. With this bottle I get every ounce of water I filled it with.
