Nice look.
Have used this on a few things now. I spray a light or medium base coat then go over that with this paint and then a clear sealer coat. I use it for outside decor. It give a nice stone look to update older faded items.

Looks fabulous!
Got a bunch of things out of storage and a few items yellowed because it has been eight years. My sun and moon were originally an off-white but looked yellow so I painted it gray and then thought I would try this out on the sun and moon first. Definitely looks better in person and really gave it an updated contemporary look. Next I needed to re-paint the pedestals for my dining room table glass top to rest upon. They looked awful! They are supposed to have an aged look but they just looked yellow and dirty after all this time. I repainted them so that they were more white towards the bottom and with a little bit color going up and tried to get kind of an aged/ombre look back to it. It’s hard to tell in the picture unless you zoom in. I used most of the spray on the bottom and then less and less since a heavy piece of glass is going to be on top of two of these Roman pedestals, and I didn’t want any texture rubbing against the glass. I didn’t realize that there was no background color to this, so I’m glad I bought three cans for two pedestals. I also purchased one of those hand triggers that you easily attached to a spray can, which was awesome! When you first start using the can you get a lot of product and after you’re halfway through the can you get less and less. It then continues to diminish until they can is empty so it’s very inconsistent. That was my biggest complaint, but it really saved the day for my dining room table pedestals! I definitely recommend this product and would use it again.

I redid my countertops with White Onyx...
UPDATE: it's been over 2 years now and the countertops continued to yellow because of the polyurethane sealant to the point where I wish I would have painted the counters in a dark color to begin with. I don't regret repainting the countertops process because it actually works, but with a white color the polyurethane will cause it to yellow and stain over time. If you insist on having lighter countertops you may want to consider using countertop protectors because the polyurethane isn't impervious to creating dark stains, which will show up against a lighter background. SHEER: If you plan on redoing your formica countertops you'll need to sand and then use a couple layers of primer and/or paint for this texture paint to stick to. I thought the White Onyx would be a very white paint in itself and that combined with one coat of primer there would be good coverage. But I discovered it does not have much base white color in it (sheer-ish), and the primer spray paint I used wasn't enough by itself to white out and prepare the dark countertops either (still had some dark show through), so I brushed a white paint semi-gloss which I had laying around on top of the primer to fully cover up my old countertops, deglossed, sanded, and then applied more White Onxy on top. The White Onyx does not have primer in it and is kind of sheer so if you don't have a white surface to begin with, you're definitely going to have to prime or paint it first, or both before you apply it. If you have a good amount of counter space you'll probably need two cans of this product because you'll have to do a couple of layers to get a very coarse texture. SEALING: Countertops need to be sealed to protect against water damage, especially around the sink and in high traffic areas. I did my research and polyurethane is more impervious to water over time than polyacrylic. HOWEVER, polyurethane has yellow undertones to it so when I applied it to the White Onxy, it yellowed it immediately and turned it more into a cream color. I applied a thick cover of polyurethane to completely seal it. I didn't mind the eventual cream color because my kitchen doesn't require stark white countertops, but just keep that in mind when choosing your sealants if you're going for a very white look. Conversely though, I do have the peace of mind that I can place anything on my countertops and they won't be damaged or chip anytime soon, which I probably wouldn't have had had I use polyacrylic as the sealer. There may be some other clear sealing options but I went with polyurethane. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase and it achieved the results that I was hoping for. I hope this review was helpful, and good luck on your projects!

NOT WATERPROOF
Beware- This is NOT waterproof without a sealer. Probably my fault for not looking further into it but don’t end up like me. It was a week that this has to settle before it rained.

Color not as advertised
Why is the cap so hard to get off? That set me off on the wrong foot to begin with because I had to break the cap to get it off. The color was not at all like the cap. You can never go by the actual name because it is rarely accurate so I went by the cap. Not all the same as the actual spray paint. Very disappointed because this stuff isn’t cheap.
