Don't expect Dremel performance out of this - it's a tiny tool meant for light duty work, and at that it does fine. Battery life is exceptional - I have no idea when the last time I even charged it. That said, it doesn't offer a lot of feedback on that battery life. Basically when the battery is dead, it's just dead with no warning. Weird. That said, for drilling holes here and there, the battery does last quite a while. I use mine mostly for drilling small holes in scale models for wiring with PCB bits, but I've also used it as a grinder on plastic too. As long as you let the tool do the work and resist the urge to push it along, it will work well. Put a small amount of pressure on the grinding bit and it will simply stop. As I mentioned, battery life is great for my uses. I just found mine dead today and while I don't use it every day, it has been months since I charged it - so long I really don't remember when I last charged it. If you use it a lot every day your battery life is going to be a lot shorter, of course.
