not very effective , as the sediments tend to float and escape the bag some how.
the fiter design has both inlet and outlet on the top, so the dirt in the water escapes easily and floats so it will go the outlet without being filtered.Almost no use.

Nice product!
I installed it on roof over water tank. After 2 months I checked the tank was mud free. Now I don't need to clean the tanks bimonthly just remove the filter, clean it and install again.
