Q: If I want to make these stars into a wand , would size dowel would you recommend me purchase?

There are round and square dowel rods. I happen to have 3/8 round and square dowels and a 3/16 round dowel to get you started. I would also suggest you take one of the stars to a home store and hold it up to the different sizes of dowel rods to get a look at more choices in between those sizes to see what looks the best proportionally. Good luck!

If you are going to glue them a 1/4 inch dowell would work, if you drill and insert them 1/8 in would be the maximum .
