This is a great product. Covers my grays quickly and easily. Be careful to cover clothing when you use it, as it will occasionally leave a little extra splatter here or there. But it has never ruined any clothing or anything. Such a minor thing for the incredible job it does. I really like this product and have been using it for the last couple years.

I use this in between my monthly "cut and color" trips to the beauty salon. That third week really shows the grey roots, so I use this until my next appointment. A few sprays along the hairline and part, and I am ready to go. It will stay for a couple of days if you don't have to wash your hair daily. Otherwise, it will wash right out with your shampoo. The red that I buy is more auburn color, and gives a great look to my hair. I buy this on a regular basis. One can lasts about 10 applications of touch ups for me.

I have used the red root cover up for a few years now and it does the job. I am not ready to go grey or white yet. I use Clairol Natural Instincts Medium Auburn demi-permanent hair color. Over the years it has been harder and harder to color those grey and white hairs along my hairline, temples and part. I have very long hair, so only wash it once a week. After drying, I hold a tissue over my face, shake up the can and spray along the part and hairline. I keep it pretty close and use hair clips to hold back some of my hair to get the temples too. It lasts a week for me, then I wash it out. I have not noticed it bleeding on to fabrics unless I wear a tight hat. It may not be the product for you if you wash your hair a lot. If your hair is very bright red the color may not match. It seems to be a dark auburn, not really red. It isn't a perfect match, but it covers up the grey and white hairs very well. When I first tried it out, I bought one can at the drug store. That might be a good idea to see if it is a good match for you. Now that I use it regularly, I like the fact that it is a two pack, so I can stock up and it lasts for many months. It's an extra expense, but I like what I see when I look in the mirror!

Perfect for extending your root color between salon appointments! I am 54 with red hair and this color matches well. I am about 40% grey, this product has 100% grey coverage without feeling sticking, cake or “thick” on my roots. I’ve used this product for years and have yet to find one even comparable.

This spray is great for covering your root line. The red covers anything from Brownish red to Red.
