It dried really fast and was easy to use. It was my first project and this made things very easy.

I got the polyurethane spray in today. The tube coming out of the can to the nozzle was broken off in the nozzle. The spray ran on my hands and the cedar project I was working on. Now I can’t use a $20 can of polyurethane and I have to sand the platter off again. I’m editing this review because after 2 days of trying ( I could not return the paint because it is considered hazardous shipment) I talked with someone and got a refund on it. The polyurethane is an excellent choice for finishing products put it is hard to get in touch with them.

I like the hardness and durability of a single coat of this product. I have used it successfully to refinish worn sections of parque flooring and these areas have stood up well to continued foot traffic. Getting a nice smooth finish without brush marks is challenging and maybe impossible. It's self leveling to point but it is very different from conventional varnish in application. A relatively odorless product during use and no lingering odor when cured. It does clean up nicely with warm water and it's easy to care for your application tools after use. Paint thinner is is not needed and that saves money. It does build a durable coating quickly.

Wonderful product. A few points and suggestions: One coat will not be enough. You need at least 2 and more likely 3 or more. Gloss level is very nice. Not dead flat, but almost with just a nice subtle sheen. I spray with cans that I heat up with hot tap water. It levels much better. The spray is not water based. On wood any product color is not noticeable. I’ve bought maybe 20 cans of this and it’s my go to finish for general wood work.

Works as advertised and it is indeed a matte finish - which is hard to find in polyurethane. I use it to coat printed labels and it works very well for that.
