Honest, funny and relatable - a great read!
An inspiring story from an inspirational woman. True to Rachel herself, this story does not just cover her own unique story but those of other women she has touched and who have equally helped her. In doing so, the myriad of stories are honest, sad and funny but also relatable to men and women alike. If this book doesn’t make you want to go out and run (even if you never have before) nothing will!

An amazing and inspirational story
I don't read books often but with this one I couldn't put it down! The incredible life that Rachel has lived and at times, problems she'd had to overcome, is such a rollercoaster of emotions, and you can't help relating your own life to areas of the story. It's just so very honest, raw, and at times absolutely hilarious. However, to sum this book up in one word would be inspirational. No matter whether you want to run or not, this is a book about how to use exercise and the great outdoors as a part of your general daily wellbeing, and how you can push yourself to achieve goals you never thought achievable. Just absolutely amazing and inspirational.

Absolutely Fantastic Book
This book had me hooked from the moment I opened it, I could hear Rachel’s voice as I read. She is such an inspiration, and openly tells you the amazing and sometimes heartbreaking story of her life, her relationships and her battles with mental health, and how running helped her to overcome many obstacles in between. She inspires many women (and men)to take up running who end of running marathons too, a number of whom tell their own story of why they started to run in a few of the chapters. During her journey Rachel has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity and continues to do so, such an awesome achievement. Well done Rachel - you should be so proud! Just read this book... see what you can achieve!

An honest, tear-jerking, funny, inspirational page turner.
The honesty, humour and clarity of the writing in this account elevates what could have been just another book about the benefits of exercise into something extremely moving yet also laugh out loud funny.I defy anyone not to find a relatable account from Rachel and her friends, and bet all will want to put on their trainers and catch a bit of the joy Rachel and her friends feel when they go out running together, taking part in events, raising money for charity or sharing an epic group adventure or two.

Thoroughly recommended read, a truly inspirational journey.
I've known Rachel for a short while compared to some, but being married to one of the orange army has given me an insight into the support Rachel and the club provide for each other. It is a powerful story of the physical and mental struggles she has battled over the years and the positive impact she has had on all of our lives, my own included. Rachels adage of "finishing lines, not finishing times" is a clear indication of the depth of feeling and positivity she has for every single member.Whether you're a mum or not, a marathon runner or not, I truly believe this book has something to offer everyone.A word of warning, do not read this in a dusty room.See you on the start line Rach xx
