Bam it broke but i thought the spro swivel gave way, Nope, it held against 2 larger albeit snap swivels! see pics!! the swivel ends are stretched but it held a massive amount of weight, im pretty sure i was pulling well over 50lbs! not a scientific test but i feel safer with these tiny swivels over my much larger snaps. i will be getting these in the water soon with wire leader and going for some big fish! maybe ill even pick up a larger size also😎 Review: Remarkably durable. Understand that I am a commercial fisherman and the size of Spro swivels I purchase has nothing to do with its strength. The strength of these swivels are so great that,unless you are going blue water fishing, it is really academic. I purchase the size of a swivel that suits my purpose. For example, if I was to use 30 pound test mono line, I would not purchase any size smaller than a #4 (130 pound test) since the stainless steel eye is so fine it would create a weak spot in the mono line where it wraps around the eye. These swivels which come in packs of fifty which is usually more cost effective than purchasing smaller numbers in a pack. While not a ball bearing swivel, they turn so smoothly and are so compact, that I would never go back to using any other swivel. **Q: How do they hold up for sailing? Where do you use them? How have the held up?** A: They are for fishing, you use them in the water to catch fish.
