Battery for Graco 2791, 2795DIG1, TMK NI-MH, 2796VIB1, iMonitor vibe

This has given new life to our old baby monitor.

I've had a Graco monitor since 2007. It was only lasting for about 20 min. off the charger, so I wanted a battery to replace it. Originally, I was going to replace the battery with a similar-looking battery I had gotten for my cordless phones, but I discovered that the connector pin is not the same. After looking around a bit, I found this. Once received, the battery pack said 800 mah, and now the monitor lasts for well over 2 hours (I don't know exactly how long because I haven't tested it - maybe it lasts 4 hours, no idea). Great buy, inexpensive. I need to get another one for my other monitor.

Sounds like a lot of people were disappointed the connector head didnt fit their monitor. I had the same problem maybe because my monitor is about 4 years old. It was relatively easy to take the head off the old battery and put it on the new one.I used a small screw driver (used for watches) to pry up the plastic tabs holding each of the wires in place. An awl would probably also work. If you have trouble getting the head on to the new battery, you could probably connect the wires directly to the prongs on unit. The wires ends are already fashioned to wrap around the prongs.

The plug was in reverse. I had to bend the pins on my phone in order to insert the plug. But it's working ok so far. Make surethe red goes to the red and the other color wire likewise. Plugging it wrong can make the battery hot and possibly burn yourhouse down. The manufacturer or the assembly person must have his or her head on backwards. Check that the battery does notget hot. If it's luke warm after 24 hrs of charging then it's OK.

I bought this in hopes it could replace the battery for my Graco true digital video monitor. Sadly it does not. These are AAA sized batteries whereas the monitor has AA. It's really my fault and the price was pretty great so I'm not too upset about being out $4.To those looking to replace the parent unit battery for the Graco true digital monitor (2V01 VIB) they don't make replacement batteries anymore. I called Graco to order from them and was told they don't have them. :(

I almost went out and bought a new video monitor because I got tired of the battery dying on our Graco Monitor. Typically the battery dies after 2 years on these devices and I did not know we could purchase a battery pack. I'm so glad that my $4.50 went such a long way. It works great with our monitor and glad I didn't go out and spend $300.00 due to my frustration.Love it!

Does the job. I had to change the plug to match my device.
