6 in 1 Raptor Emergency Response Shears with Strap Cutter and Glass Breaker Black with MOLLE Compatible Holster (Shears)

I was reworking the first aid kit in our camper and decided to add a pair of shears to the kit. I would have loved to pick up a set of Leatherman Raptors, but just couldn't justify the price of the real thing. After reading over the reviews of all the knock off shears, these looked best.Received them today and since several reviews talked about them either being dull or breaking easily, I figured cutting a penny would at least show if they are dull or fragile. They cut through the penny easily and the blade feels just as sharp as before. I've never had to use a glass breaker or strap cutter, both seem like they would do a great job.So far the negatives don't warrant a full point deduction. The supplied holster doesn't fit very well. It's incredibly tight on the folded shears, and open shears are too loose in the holster. Another negative is there's some slop around the release buttons. Not a huge amount but enough to be annoying. Final negative is that the handles aren't very comfortable.It's obvious that these are not Leatherman shears. But for about 1/4 the price, these fit my needs perfectly. If I needed to use these on a daily basis, I'd spring for the name brand, but to stock the first aid kit, these should work just fine.

You cannot beat the value for the money. I was going to purchase the name brand set, but these happened to be advertised by chance. You won’t regret purchasing these as an alternative. You’ll be just as surprised as me when you break these powerful shears out of the box. I tested them momentarily and the cutting performance is better than the stock shears inside the equipment room at the hospital

I thought I lost my beloved Raptors on an MVC scene and didn’t have the funds to replace them. These are honestly surprisingly great quality for the price. They fit in the hard case belt clip for my Raptors as well. They’re just a bit lighter in weight. I did find my other set so these are in my go-bag as a back up. Perfect for EMS…..priced more for our income (lol, sigh).

I doubt if I would use it daily on the rig but it’s decent for a backup. Consider this single use in case of emergency gear.

I bought these after purchasing SOG trauma shears for a hefty price. These work the exact same and were a quarter of the cost. Most definitely will buy again

I’ve had Raptors before and though these aren’t the namesake they are a descent alternative! Working in a ER for the last 15 years and on a truck for a decade, I can tell you a good pair of shears is a must and how much it kills you to loose them! The shears are stiff new but will loosen with use. Sheath is same and yes you can use it with shears folded. Was a nice surprise to receive two free pen lights too!Just be careful of the window punch it’s no joke! Very pointed!! Good edge on cutting edges.So if you want to save a few bucks I think it’s well worth the money.

Not MOLLE compatible as advertised, mount is too wide to fit MOLLE.
