Review: Solid buy - I like this - it's easy to assemble (once you ditch the poor instructions & just use some logical thinking skills), it's super solid & heavy. It looks nice. As others have mentioned, the packaging is surprisingly well-done. I got the 'brown' one and it looks like that dusty gray barnwood look, a little bit of brown in it, but I like it and it matched other pieces I have in similar colors. The edges on the unfinished sides were a bit splintery, even though this isn't 'real' wood, so be careful. Whatever the whitewash stuff they used to give it its look was packed so solidly into all the bolt holes & was caked onto a few pieces of wood. It brushes off easy enough, just messy so heads up if you come across the same thing. Still love it, well worth it! Looks far more expensive than it was!

**Q: What is the weight limit doe this table? Could you set a tv on it?**
A: I guess it depends on the weight of the tv - I use this as a breakfast bar at my cabin, it has coffee pots and mugs, plates and bowls etc on it all the time with no issues.  Hope that helps!

**Q: What kind of seating fits underneath?**
A: Hello, this item is a sofa/console table and is mainly used for putting behind a sofa or entry way area. In general, however, it is recommended that seating be 9-13" below the top of the table height. -Brin

**Q: Is the brown very dark, closer to black or just regular brown?**
A: It's between very dark and regular brown.  I like the chocolate shade. That's what it is, a chocolate brown.  Like milk chocolate and not dark chocolate. Hope that helps

**Q: Is the top smooth to write or draw on it?**
A: I know this unit well and I since it has as oak grain finish, it is NOT smooth. Part of the charm of this unit is the open grain that oak grain provides but does not lend itself to drawing on its surface. Hope this helps!!

I like this - it's easy to assemble (once you ditch the poor instructions & just use some logical thinking skills), it's super solid & heavy. It looks nice. As others have mentioned, the packaging is surprisingly well-done. I got the 'brown' one and it looks like that dusty gray barnwood look, a little bit of brown in it, but I like it and it matched other pieces I have in similar colors. The edges on the unfinished sides were a bit splintery, even though this isn't 'real' wood, so be careful. Whatever the whitewash stuff they used to give it its look was packed so solidly into all the bolt holes & was caked onto a few pieces of wood. It brushes off easy enough, just messy so heads up if you come across the same thing. Still love it, well worth it! Looks far more expensive than it was!

Arrived in perfect shape even though the box was a little beat up. Super easy to put together on my own (a power screwdriver helps a lot). The color is a nice rich dark brown, darker than the seller’s photos but true to customer pics. The wood grain is beautiful. Great quality for the price—highly recommend!
