These batteries are pre-charged and ready to use right out of the package, retaining up to 85% of their charge after one year of storage and can be recharged up to 1000 times, making them a reliable and eco-friendly choice for all your power needs.

This is a HUGE FAIL! I'll NEVER buy from Maha again! (And I used to LOVE them!)
I've purchased over a thousand dollars worth of Maha Imedion and Powerex batteries over the past decade, and these "NEW AND IMPROVED" ones, which are supposed to combine the slightly higher amperage of the original Powerex, with the extended staying power of the Imedion, are a MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT for me!These new hybrids feel more cheaply constructed, didn't have a charge right out of the box (as they advertise), and won't hold over a 50% charge for over a MONTH! I literally must charge them AGAIN before each use! I HATE THEM!I haven't noticed whether or not they really PERFORM as well (with the 2600 mAh, as the original Powerex did), but they sure as HECK aren't LOW SELF-DISCHARGING, like the IMEDION, like Maha advertises!I was excited when I saw these and read about them on Maha's website, so I purchased quite a few, both in AA and in AAA, and I feel like I've completely been HAD! I will never trust Maha again! I won't even go back to their previous flagship IMEDION for fear that their quality and corporate structure/values must have changed, because I can't think of any reason to trick all your loyal customers to believe that you have developed and are selling a superior product, when in fact it is FAR inferrior. Especially when those same customers would have kept purchasing your previous version indefinitely IF you hadn't shattered their TRUST in your COMPANY!

Read This Before Believing ANY 1 Star Review
I have read virtually all the one stars because I was amazed anyone could not rate PowerEx Batteries at 5 Stars. All the negative reviews have one thing in common - they are not using the MaHa Charger that these batteries REQUIRE. I've used PowerEx Batteries at home but mainly in all my Pro Audio Equipment weekly for over 20 years. Mainly 9Vs and AAs but a few AAAs. That's wireless mics, wireless guitars, PMS (in ear monitors) and multiple pedals and devices - almost all of the MFG's of Pro Audio Equipment suggest that "rechargeable's are not sufficient for use" yet these work without issue and they are the only ones that I've found that do. Batteries last normally through one 2 hour performance followed by a 2 hour rehearsal (4 hours total) and probably would go longer, but I always use fresh ones for performances and charge after rehearsals. Because of the number of batteries I keep on hand, each one is normally charged about once per week and last 4 to 5 years at this rate of usage. In the MaHa charger they charge in 2 hours. In their final year of usage it takes 3 to 4 hours to charge. I write the date on each battery when I remove them from the packaging in order to know when they are nearing the end of their life - which means they no longer last through the rehearsal. There is no other rechargeable battery that I will use or recommend - but the key to these batteries is using the right MaHa Charger that is made for these batteries. Don't blame the batteries if you are not going to use the right charger - These are worth every penny and have saved me $1000's of dollars through the years.

Doesn't Reach Stated Capacity, Rated Output not Always Accurate
"C" sized battery; Summary: These batteries don't seem to reach their rated capacity... (Battery 1: 4964, Battery 2: 4506 mAh)Ironically beat out by the much cheaper Tenergy Premium's that come with a 1 year warranty, I ran this on my Liitokala Lii-500 charger, which can charge 2x C-sized batteries. With up to 1 amp of charge, for my tests I used 500 mA, the charging was done in a large garage where the temperature is ~72F (22C). I ran with "NOR" (normal) mode, which seems to discharge the battery fully, then recharge, and do the test. This is very time intensive.. and for this reason. I get a result after about 1.5 days for each pair. I am also buying a much more modern charger, called the "Xtar DRAGON VP4 Plus", which I will re-test again to see how they compare with newer technology.I am going to return these, for the price premium they perform WORSE than the cheaper ones I bought from tenergy. Add to the fact, battery #2 did not work properly, I had to do the test a second time because the rated capacity the first time came out to somewhere around 2,000 mAh. For what they cost, they should be easily able to outperform the Tenergy batteries.

Not very good!
I agree completely with the negative review by Jeff H - not very well charged when I got them, and don't hold a charge worth a damn. I bought some Eneloops about the same time to use in the keypads to my wireless home security system. The Eneloops last 5-6 months, the Powrex 28 to35 days! I tried switching - alternating them to different keypads, and no difference - not the keypads, definitely the batteries. And when the Powerex are being recharged on the same charger as used on the eneloops, they get much warmer than the eneloops, take longer to charge, and often never trigger the 'fullycharged' light. Won't be getting these again.

Disappointing
The most disappointing thing about the 9v Powerex batteries is the fact they discharge way too quickly for my needs, lasting probably a quarter of the time of Duracell Pro batteries do.I bought two of them thinking when one discharged, I'd pop in another and recharge the spent one. The problem with this is that unless the spare has been freshly charged (as in a day or two), it'll discharge even faster because for some reason they discharge quite a bit just sitting there unused for more than a week or so.If you own one of the 9v batteries, do this simple test. Charge it to maximum, then pull it and let it sit for a week. Place it back on the charger and notice how long it takes to reach maximum charge again. They have serious discharge issues when not immediately used.Lesson learned. I'm going back to the Duracell Pro batteries.

Good.
They appear to be doing a very good job at powering an Xbox controller. Being of higher capacity they do take longer to charge (but they don't need recharging so frequently).

1 faulty out of the pack
out of the pack , 1 battery was faulty, quite surprised and disappointed as i have about 50 powered rechargeable batteries and never had issues, after 2nd charging i found 1 battery not functioning well, i i did battery condition ,although the battery charged and read 1.4 v it didn't keep its charge anymore,

9.6 volt battery
Very expensive. When fully charged reached a voltage of 11.6 volts. The voltage fell to10.4 volts are several hours of extensive use. All in All, this battery is better than a standard 9 volt (in reality 8.4 volt battery) rechargeable battery, if you are willing to pay the enormous cost.

The best rechargeables
I always use these rechargeable batteries when ever I can, especially if you don't use the device too often. They keep their charge a long time, I've proved it many times. They are my favorite rechargeable batteries.
