good for beginners to learn how to use each tool and how to sharpen them . they work fairly well when sharp but definitely just a cheap disposable set to use until you are comfortable, and can upgrade to a good set .

These are VERY inexpensive so there are draw backs but if you need to turn something simple and dont want to invest in long term tools then these are great. The whole set cost about a third of what a premium tool would so how can you complain. They dull fast so you need to have a belt sander to keep them sharp. Poor steel for sure but again, still a value for the money for sort term or infrequent turning needs. Adequate handles.

Product came extremely dull. Couldn’t cut into butter unless... well I made them red hot. However, i sharpened them and now the function just perfect. Not the best quality but not what can I expect with the price I payed.

Be ready to re-profile most of the chisels.

These tools are ok, they aren't finished well and the metal is softer than I would have liked. They need to be reground in order to use. Also, the edges of the bar are quite sharp and need to be rounded. But that said, they do work ok, and will be good for the kids to learn with. But will quickly need something better.

Very low quality some tools came ground wrong. not sure how well the tools will hold a edge yet. I am currently getting sharpening jigs for them. for the price not to bad over all.

One of the chisels had a big chip in the tip of the blade. Was obviously not damaged during shipping. How could you even ship it to begin with knowing this; unless you don't have anything to do with quality control

These are not super quality but for a beginner set, they are good to learn sharpening and turning technique.
