I don’t think it would work for your purposes because if you turn them upside down you couldn’t stand them up on the tip, they would flip over. The bottom is flat and the tip is pointy. Search for gems on Amazon and you’ll get a lot of options in sizes and colors and cheaper than this. Good luck.

Q: Will this work with plexiglass?

Really good question. Obviously, it depends on the thickness of the plexiglass. The thickest material I have used successfully is a double thickness of tagboard. I would suggest you take a file folder and fold it in half. Hold that against the edge of the plexiglass. If the plexiglass is thicker than 2 sheets of tagboard, it PROBABLY will not work. As reasonably priced as these are, you won't be out a lot of money if you buy them and they don't work. They have lots of other uses.

Yes. The slit for your laminated card should fit nicely. Our party goers were very excited at the look of diamonds on the table setting!
