Mine came with metal filings still attached to the slot cuts, and the tightening screw only tightens properly when it it pressed up into the “C” shaped cutout, necessitating two-hand operation…which could be very problematic when tightening around a tooth inside someone’s mouth. This is a very cheap version of the matrix tool. It certainly functions, but it is not a professional-grade tool. Only ok. The metal filings still attached to the cut out slots is a big problem in my opinion. These are obviously mass-produced at a facility that may not even have a QC staff. Mine was certainly not QC’ed, or even looked at before it was bagged up and sent to the Amazon warehouse. I’d like to send it back for a refund, but it’s not worth my time to go to the post office.

The actual tofflemires sent are not represented in the photo. They are very crudely made and have sharp edges with poor fit between parts. Evidence of corrosion already exists on them and suggests that they will rust with one run through an autoclave.

Very bud, inaccurate, worst material, all of them broke in the first month .
