This boot jack works well, but the maker could have made a better product without having to increase the price point much. What they should have included on their product to make it better is a non- slip strip on the base so it would not scratch floors. It should also have leather protectinting the entire area that comes in contact with the boot. The way it is now, there are parts of the jack that are rough and could ruin a nice pair of boots.

I wear a size 11 cowboy boot and when I first received this, I thought there was no way my boot would fit between the prongs. Don’t let size fool ya, this boot pulled works perfect! The only thing I wish they could improve on, would be to extend the black leather protector over the end of the prongs. Like a sleeve, so that the corners of the prongs didn’t leave marks on your boots. Other than that, this boot pulled is very well made and should last quite awhile.

I’ve had a few different models of boot jacks ..this one is by far the best ..nice, thick jack plate ..will last for years ..very happy with my purchase!

It came in pieces. Now, that in and of itself may be indicative of a rough shipping were it not for the fact that this is pretty much 2 pieces of low quality wood glued together. I returned it and simply bought a single mold plastic one. If you are going to go the "bargain route" i suggest you avoid this and go with a plastic model.
