Although, this time taking a lesson from Love Quinn, he tries to stay grounded and not land up in trouble too quickly.Away from his past and LA, he moves to simple pleasures on a cozy island in the Pacific Northwest. After donating an unbelievable amount anonymously to a library, he starts working there as a volunteer and falls head over heels for Mary Kay, Librarian. She is a mother of a teenage girl, Nomi. And is going through an in and off marriage with Phil, who is a forgotten Rockstar.Joe knowing Mary Kay is in need of love, starts wooing her from day one. But Mary Kay is busy, she is a mother and can't fall in love with a person who claims to be a bachelor. But in reality, he too is a (ex) husband and a father who stalks his boy through Love's Instagram.When Joe decides to move on and made Mary Kay realised he is the right fit for her by being secretly friends with Phil, and drowning his image in front of Mary Kay, things starts to mess up.First up is Melanda, Mary Kay's friend from high school or more of a sister. She is a hardcore feminist and hated Joe from day one. She notices Joe spying on Mary Kay's house and therefore becomes first target of Joe, or it is the other way round? Read the book.After lot of troubles and characters coming back from past to disrupt Joe's life where does he land is the question? Well if I answered this, it will be a spoiler.Caroline Kepnes style of writing is gripping and a total page turner, but this sequel kind of let me down in terms of action, thrill and horror of Mr Goldberg. The readers will kind of sympathize in this novel and that's what I do not wish to read. Because for obvious reasons he is a psychopath.The last twist was shocking definitely which comes like 30pages before the book ends. So, I don't like the fact I have to wait for so long and read the twist for just 30 pages.Or may be, there is fourth book in the pipeline.Characters you will enjoy reading are Mary Kay and Nomi. Obviously Goldberg for thrill, but he let down in this one.Overall, I would say this one is not that great in comparison to past YOU novels. But one can read to know what happens after Love Quinn takes their son and Joe went to jail. How did he get out?(This is a proof copy)

Joe Goldberg is back again with his new obsession on Mary kay.Yea! The chapter to love is done and he’s all ready for his new life in a island with kay who’s a elder woman than joe with a kid and working at library.Now joe is a good guy who wears sweaters and doesn’t stalk. But how much of him can pretend being good and no stalking,🔪There are murders and deaths in the book but you will find a surprise about the murderer.All the woman joe loved, love was my favorite but author supposed to remove her so Joe can have new obsession.And all the women joe loves Mary Kay is the one I hate. I think she is literally a bitch.Joe has new plans, new life but he misses his son which whom he think was taken by love.🔪The ending is really twisted than any the books so far, I really enjoyed the book but mostly ending. Epilogue ends in a way there might be another book or maybe not. It’s not a cliffhanger ending but it suggests there might be a sequel.🔪Before this book, I used to think joe is nuts but he loves people really but after reading this I think I change my mind about Joe, He is really nuts and only love the idea of falling in love and making the woman fall in love with him. It’s all about process of falling in love for him like stalking and getting obsessed. He really is twisted person and I still like him in a way.🔪
