Fantastic mold. Do be sure to tap it thoroughly to avoid air bubbles - the finer details make bubbles more of a problem.

difficult to use, but produces fabulous results when done properly
Pros:- The cups are ADORABLE. I get so many compliments on how darn cute they are.- The mold is nearly indestructable. It truly holds up to commercial kitchen use.Cons:- When made hollow, they are unbelievably fragile. There are 32 cavities and rarely will I get an entire batch of 32 out of a mold. A quarter -- sometimes even up to half of them -- will break during unmolding, filling, or storage.- They are so hard to get out of the mold. You really have to freeze them a long time to get enough shrinkage to slip nicely out of the mold, but that tends to result in discoloration of the chocolate. Darned if you do, darned if you don't.Polycarbonate molds are supposed to be able to be used without really ever washing. The problem is, they get chocolate all over them and are a huge mess. If all you do is polish them, it's pretty time consuming to get all of that chocolate off. If you miss a spot and leave any old chocolate in a crevice, it will show on your next product.All in all, polycarbonate molds take patience and practice. I give 4 stars because the mold is difficult to unmold and also to clean the teeny tiny crevices. However, when you get lucky and get a good set, it produces a beautiful finished product.
