I recently had my son's dirt bike stolen out of my garage. They almost got mine and a 4 wheeler also by cutting through the chain with bolt cutters. Not sure why they gave up because they were all the way through one side of the chain. So I was looking for a chain that couldn't be cut with bolt cutters and this fits the bill. I tried with a 3' pair and couldn't even get a dent. As good as this chain is it's only as good as the lock you put on it. So remember to not only use a good lock, but use layers of protection. I've installed a motion alarm inside the garage, motion lights all around the exterior, bars on the bottom floor windows, a motion activated camera, and a couple of these chains with Kryptonite locks. It may seem like overkill, but a determined thief probably won't be stopped by just a chain. Even this chain could be cut through with a battery powered saw, and probably a rotary tool as well. The extra precautions will make it a lot harder for them to get your stuff.

I bought this chain and lock as part of my generator set up. One end of the chain is locked to the end of my generator. The chain is looped around the handle at the top of my generator, then locked to a heavy duty D-ring. The D-ring is welded to a 5"X5" plate that is bolted to the bottom of my utility cart. Another heavy duty chain is cinched around a pole and the other end is locked to the D-ring. The 2 chains and 2 locks secure the generator to the cart and the cart to the pole. The chain is heavy. I have limited mobility and reduced hand strength. The utility cart not only makes it easy to set up my generator and power cords, the utility cart holds my chains and locks too. What I can wheel out to the post in one wagon trip would otherwise take me at least four trips.

I have faith in this chains ability to prevent theft. As someone, who has had several: bikes, scooters, and carrier bags stolen... I am usually pestimistic, where theft preventative gear is concerned. However, the: strength, thickness, and angular design keeps most (common) thieves at bay. Furthermore, the chain is the perfect size for my Aniioki Aq177 seat post. I wrap the chain around my seat and secure it with the provided U-lock. Personally, I am going to invest in a better U-lock and purchase another one of these chains. Realistically, a single chain is: easily cut, first cut selection, and is necessary, to be able to lock on to more difficult targets. I am going to try my luck with a two chain prevention system and this chain is perfectly suited.

I used this chain to attach a piece of art to the ground in my garden so it wouldn't get stolen. It's a good chain for that. It's very big and very heavy. It might be too heavy for a bike chain as carrying it around would be burdensome. It's a bigger and more impressive chain than I expected. It's very beautiful in fact. However, if you really want your bike protected and you don't mind a heavy chain then this is going to work for you.

This is a super chain. If you want security at you gate or building, this is your chain. You have to make sure you use a lock that matches the superiority of the chain. Then, you're Golden and safe.

This is a solid/heavy chain and to the extent that you don't want thieves cutting the chain, it's likely to deter them more than a normal chain which is easily cut. Comes in a carry bag which is pretty necessary. This thing is heavy and slippery when you try to just carry it. It's much better than any comparable I've encountered. Great product and Seller.

I own the top of the line kryptonite chain & lock which is awesome hands down but comes with a big cost that is still worth it. I didn't want to spend as much for my E-Scooter but wanted the same type of security. The chain looks the same as kryptonites 3T just slightly smaller links without sacrificing any durability. I ride a Synergy Sport and there are only a couple of ways of locking it up safe (disc alarm lock as well) and this is one of the ways. You can use what ever lock you choose so I just switch out my NYF disc lock. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED OKG!! TBH the bag might seem trival until you have it, lol. Kryptonite totally missed the boat on that one!!! JS DON'T FORGET TO REGISTER IT!!
