Deze Knipex voorsnijtang van 160 mm knipt moeiteloos draad van verschillende diktes. Ik heb het niet getest met dik pianodraad, maar koperdraad of binddraad knipt als boter zo makkelijk. De tang is goed en nauwkeurig gemaakt. Beide knipdelen sluiten zo exact op elkaar, dat je er zelfs mee in papier kan knippen.

I got these pliers to help with a stainless steel refret on my Strat, and honestly, they worked great. They cut through the frets without any trouble, and the jaws stayed in perfect shape even after doing the whole neck. The only downside is that the shape doesn’t give you the cleanest cut, so you’ll need a bit of extra filing afterward. But for the price, that’s a really small tradeoff. They do exactly what they need to, and I’d happily recommend them. Definitely worth saving the money over expensive luthier cutters.
