Elevation Training Mask 2.0 - Resistance Training Mask®, High Altitude Mask, Workout Mask (Black, Large)

I've bought this mask 3x now. The first time, it was missing pieces, the second time the wrong size was sent, and the third time the mask arrived used. I could smell a strange odour through the packaging. The last two times, the box came in a plastic seal. This one did not. I opened the box, and the mask and parts were not in plastic-sealed bags, as previously. There was debris inside the nose cup and what appeared to be stains around the valves on the outside. I've been trying to buy this mask for months, but every time, I'm left extremely disappointed. Do not recommend.

This is actually what I wanted... I have been watching Training Mask for a while; it is the perfect thing for work outs while I travel. It performs as expected, it seems to be high quality but the directions included in the box are kind of minimal (there is an extra elastic strap, for example, that I am not sure what to do with). If you plan to use this regularly, though, you probably will want to invest in a second "sleeve," the part that holds the mask to your face, so you can throw one in the washing machine without interrupting your workout schedule!

Didn't find enough information regarding sizing on Amazon before ordering, so at 6'2 and 205lbs I ordered a large. Didnt know how it was supposed to fit, so wore it in a workout. Very uncomfortable an hour into the cycling workout and couldn't comfortably wear my glasses. Headband pulled down on my ears, pulling the mask down as well. Found a velcro strap in the box (with no instructions) that looked like it might be a post-production 'fix' and had to contact support to verify how to use. They responded quickly that the velcro was supposed to loop through the earholes and over the top of the head to hold the headband up ... again, seemed to be an postproduction fix of a poor design. I also found the neoprene headband to be thick and hot, retain the sweat and dry slowly. Like wetsuit material. As for the mask fit, it was too large and had a lot of blow-by around the cheeks on exhale. Contacted support again to see if I could buy just a smaller face cup, but since I had worn the mask, they instructed me that I would have to buy a whole new mask, strap and valves. Very disappointed by the whole process for one of the more costly options. I had purchased a different brand for my wife. Tried hers on and it fit beautifully. Comfortable, lightweight and the headband was designed differently to not require an add-on strap. This one goes to the trash.
