This is a great replacement if your OEM sockets. The gaskets seat snugly, and the installation is easy with matching wire colors. While the bulb was a bit tricky to place, it slid right in when entered at an angle. Tested it and it works great! Highly recommend.

Needed to replace front turn indicator socket (original badly corroded) on a Chevy Cobalt -- this item worked fine. The original GM socket had 5 wires, not 3 -- but continuity test showed 1 is extra ground (ties to ground of Headlamp) & 1 is extra 12V positive (ties to positive of little marker bulb). So just splice 2 wires to GRND & 2 wires to the Park light element 12V positive, & the 3rd wire as the blinker-turn element of the two element bulb (if you can run a multi-meter, you'll figure it out). Only other issue -- the 3 tabs to "twist-lock" this replacement socket into your headlamp shell assembly *may* not line up exactly. If that's the case, a little careful filing of the notches or trimming with X-acto knife will make it work. Overall, these bulb sockets are a good quality product -- & MUCH more economical than GM original !!

I bought these for specific project. They weren't going to work as I'd hoped. But as luck would have it, my old pickup had socket corrode and fail. This was the exact part I needed. Worked perfect.

Good value, but not without it's downside. Seems reasonably durable and the wire is of the same gauge as the factory wiring. The bulb clicks in and is held solidly in place. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because on my 2005 Chevy Venture daylight running light sockets the locking tab does not stick out far enough to engage the lock. This means that there is an off chance that the socket could rotate and fall out of the light housing. This could cause the housing to melt if the bulb touches the plastic. The fit is very snug and I do not expect that the light will rotate enough to fall out, but this is a possibility and concern of mine. I tried to bend the locking tab out, but it is plastic and will not stay out far enough to prevent the socket from rotating. It may be worth spending another dollar or two to get one that matches the factory socket exactly.

When it comes to buying universal parts for any vehicle one should always expect that part maybe needing some modification to it; so I expected that much when purchasing this item, especially at this price. Even though being described as universal it also described as fitting my vehicle...boy was I duped and I had my work cut out for me. Not only did it not fit as you can see in the pics, where I had to cut and basically redesign it to fit in the slot. The notches are on the harness are small and aren't aligned right so it wasn't fitting right to lock and hold into place. The slightest turn or perhaps hard enough bump while driving would knock it out of place so I had to use a rubber o-ring as well as securing it for my own peace of mind with plenty of black tape. Also the notch where the bulb plugs into had me worried at first, because it (led bulb) didn't go in easily. Hopefully it holds up...fingers crossed.

Product seems fine, however it does not work for a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu . My car has 5 wires for the blinker and this only has three. Also wouldn’t fit in the socket either

I ordered these because I wanted to replace the leaking sockets for the backup bulbs in the tail lights of my F-250. These were not the correct size for the backup bulbs and return shipping exceeded the value of the sockets. They seem sturdy and of good quality but are only for the Stop/Tail bulb sockets. I'm sure I will use them eventually as the Stop/Tail sockets are also prone to leaking.

llega tan cual en las imágenes, lo malo es que te dicen que es para el auto y ni con chochos entraba tuve que usar unas pinzas de corte para ajustar lo que estorbaba para adaptarlos a las entradas de los faros. fuera de ahi todo bien
