Wall-Mount Connector Holster Dock,Nozzle Holster Dock with Screws for SAE J1772 EVSE Electric Vehicle EV Charger Holder

I am positively impressed with this inexpensive J1772 EV holster and cable hanger. It comes in 2 parts with 7 Philips head screws for wall mounting. The holster (socket) for the J1772 plug is plastic and the mount and hanger is heavy aluminum.Usually assembly would use 6 of the 7 screws for wall mounting. I think it’s pretty simple and intuitive for wall mounting. I went a different way… I wanted to mount this on a yard light pole which also provided an outlet next to where the car is parked.In my situation I used two 3in hose clamps to use as the mounts. I drilled on hole in each and used nuts and bolts on-hand to mount the plastic holster to the aluminum hanger and then the hanger to the clamps and finally the clamps to secure the assembly to the light pole. It worked perfectly making a secure mount.The overhang of the holster by the aluminum holster makes this well suited for outdoor use. Obviously important in my application.Obviously I’m very pleased with this holster. It was the lowest priced I found of similar holster/hanger options and was just about perfect. I’ll call that value on top of a well configured item easily adapted for my purposes. It should be no surprise I’m giving this Max Green hanger/holster 5 stars. It was just what I needed.

Arrived timely. Easy to mount. Fits and holds charger nozzle and hose well and looks nice. Quality nice.

Before I had this, my charging cable was just on the floor. This was easy to install, has created a nice cleaner look in my garage, and keeps the cord away from my tires.

Good hook with a very good plug holder, installing is ok, screws could be longer. But I installed it on outside. So I need a little bit longer screw. My only complaint is that the hook choud use a wider u in the hook.

STRONG AND FUNCTIONAL FOR LOOPING THE CABLE

We had to get a new ev charger and it didn’t have a hook, this one works well. It’s simple, and mostly metal which is great for sturdiness. We may actually get one more for our outside charger because that one (not this brand) snapped in the cold the second it was winter. We think this one will work better.

works great. Lots of mounting holes. The actual charger handpiece locks in securely. Does what it should.

I love that it is made specifically for this type of charger, so when it hangs in the holster it securely 'clicks' into place, giving me the peace of mind that the contacts in the charging nozzle are safe and protected from dirt, rain, bugs, whatever. The 'J-Hook' below is perfectly sized to hold the charging cable neatly off the ground, though this will depend on the length of cable you have to hang, of course, how far off the ground you mount it, how many times you loop it, etc. Love that it came with all the fasteners you'd need and I really like the additional protective 'roof' (as I call it!) that comes out over the top of the charging nozzle, further protecting it from the elements. Great little gadget, great price. Definitely recommend!
