I sometimes eat while I am doing some homework or simply browsing and I knew that I did not want my brand new laptop to get filthy with bread crumbs or anything like that. I really got used to it very quick. I also like the idea of just taking it off, clean it, and put it back on like if it was new. Delivery was great as well and got here between the days that I was told it was going to be here. The only reason why I give it 4/5 stats is because I know that my sister gets annoyed with it and she cannot type so sometimes it will be hard to get used to it. It depends on how easily you adapt to a new keyboard. It has saved my keyboard from so much dirt, dust, and oil/grease. Unlike other reviewers, I have not noticed any problems with it starting to lift away from the keys or bunch anywhere (IE near the arrow keys). It has layed flat since day one, even after wiping it down countless times. My parents liked how it worked so much that they each bought one for their laptops. Some things I have noticed; if you have a back-lit keyboard, the use of the skin will completely hide it. So if you do much work in the dark - a skin isn't for you! Also, it reduces typing time by a lot. If I have to type something quickly, such as a paper for school, I will take the skin off. The 'naked' keyboard is much easier to type on.
