There are so many health benefits to taking Vitamin D3. I never realized how many until I did some research. This product is fantastic! Not only is the product great, but the description on the listing is far beyond what I have ever seen before. They did an excellent job of showcasing their product. This pill is very easy to swallow as it is small and smooth. The fact that you only have to take them every three days makes it nice so it's not an everyday thing, but then again that could make it easier to forget to take it. In my opinion I think it is easier to remember to take a pill if you have to take it every day. I have had a bone problem in my pelvic area where 7 different bones were no lined up properly, causing paid and popping severely in the hip area. I had been through doctors, physical therapy, steroid injections only to figure out that the doctors really had no idea what the problem was. I have been taking these Vitamin D3 pills now for almost 3 weeks and both the pain and popping have eased up. I explained this to my doctor and showed her the pills and she said that my problem the whole time was that my muscles were weak in those areas and they were not holding my bones in the proper place. I would have thought that the doctors would have been able to figure that out, but at least now I know. I very highly recommend these Vitamin D3 pills. I have been taking these Vitamin D gel caps for nearly a month now. I won’t go on about how wonderful I feel now, or how much energy they give me, that is not how vitamins work, and certainly not Vitamin D supplements! I take them because I am 50 and my doctor thinks they are beneficial for someone my age. I have officially hit the ‘middle age’ mark, and well, I’m fighting it the best I can. If Vitamin D is good for me, well then I’ll take it! (Dr. says for bones, heart, and eyesight…)These are tiny little gel caps. Smaller than an M&M candy. I’d compare it to a Nerd candy! I can’t think of anything else small. How about a Red Hot candy? They are amber colored, small gel capsules. The directions say to take one capsule daily. They do not upset my stomach, in fact I have noticed nothing at all. No aftertaste, no ill side effects, nothing. Are they working? No idea! I think this is more of a long term effects sort of supplement, not an immediate result supplement.I was reading other comments, and many address the bad taste/smell and potency. C’mon people. It’s a vitamin! Yes, it has bovine gel in it (stated clearly in description). Yes it is strong, also clearly stated. I still insist it has ZERO taste or smell, and the one who complained it was making her ill due to being past its expiration—I have a bottle from same lot number; it expires in 2018 NOT 2016; and past expiration by a few months will not make you ill. Geeez.
