The cover: where the butterfly is like satin fabric; the rest of the cover outside is faux leather like. Came out a bit larger than expected for a medium bible. But overall is beautiful!

I was debating whether to buy a Med or Large based on the dimensions 6.5 x 9.5, glad I went up one because my Bible is a little thicker (just under 2 in.) and it would have not worked. It is also a hard cover and would not have slipped into the pockets (which a soft leather cover could do). I would recommend going up one size for extra room if in doubt. Would definitely recommend this product - very nice cover and well made.

We purchased them for our grandchildren. They are easy to wipe clean, they can put their Sunday school things in it and are able to keep up with them. They loved them!
